A certified real estate consultant, Austine holds credentials from the London Real Estate Academy and the School of Estate. His leadership training spans globally recognized institutions, including Harvard Business School Online, Shaw Academy, and The Entrepreneurship Academy under Dr. Olumide Emmanuel, Common Sense Guru. Before stepping into the real estate industry, Austine co-mentored hundreds of young entrepreneurs across universities and polytechnics in Southwestern and North-Central Nigeria, helping them navigate business challenges and build sustainable ventures.
Austine’s journey to success was anything but easy. Growing up in a financially disadvantaged household, he started working at a sawmill at a young age, earning as little as 30 kobo per plank transported. He also sold sawdust and offcut wood to make ends meet. Despite facing obstacles in securing higher education, he remained determined, working multiple jobs to fund his studies.
During his time at The Polytechnic, Offa, he was inspired by a mentor who emphasized the power of self-education. This pivotal encounter led him to immerse himself in personal development books and business strategies, which later became the foundation for his entrepreneurial ventures. Austine successfully ran a video club, a recharge card business, and a phone call service, demonstrating his ability to identify and seize business opportunities.
Austine’s early career saw him co-founding several tech startups, where he served as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and Chief Operating Officer (COO). However, after multiple business failures, he faced financial hardship and was forced to start a laundry business. It was during this period that he was introduced to real estate marketing. Recognizing the industry’s potential, he decided to fully commit to real estate in 2021.
“My background in tech has significantly influenced my approach to real estate. I’ve seen how leveraging technology can accelerate growth in any industry,” says Austine. “Currently, my company is developing a software platform that will allow realtors worldwide to connect, manage, and track their team members’ growth. We also plan to build a fully functional PropTech platform in the future.”
A Data-Driven and Tech-Enabled Approach to Real Estate. As a certified real estate consultant, Austine brings a unique blend of market analytics, digital marketing, and strategic networking to Nigeria’s real estate industry. His approach includes:
Data-Driven Investment Strategies: Utilizing market analytics to guide clients in making informed real estate decisions.
PropTech Integration: Developing digital tools to streamline real estate transactions and enhance realtor performance.
Network Expansion: Implementing multi-level marketing strategies to create expansive realtor networks.
Investor/Realtors Education: Equipping clients and realtors with knowledge to maximize their real estate investments

These strategies have not only accelerated property sales but have also empowered realtors and investors to build long-term wealth in real estate.
Austine credits much of his success to the mentorship he received from his American mentor, Mr Toyeeb Olaniyi Godo who taught him the importance of structured business strategies, ethical leadership, and resilience through failure. This mentorship experience has shaped his leadership style, reinforcing his belief in guiding others through hands-on learning and personal development.
“Being young today does not mean you will always be young. The job you have today does not guarantee you will have it tomorrow. That’s why it is crucial to invest today so you can reap the benefits tomorrow,” Austine emphasizes.
Through Upwey Global Investment Limited, Austine is committed to empowering young Nigerians with financial literacy, real estate investment knowledge, and the tools needed to achieve economic independence.
While Austine’s mission to empower 50,000 Nigerians through real estate by 2035 is ambitious, he acknowledges the challenges, including market fluctuations, regulatory hurdles, and financial constraints faced by young investors. However, with a resilient mindset and a strategic approach, he remains confident in his ability to drive impactful change.
