Igala nation wants Ocholi immortalised

A group in Igala under the auspices of Ufedo Foundation has called on the Federal Government to immortalise the former Minister of State for Labour and Employment, James Ocholi (SAN), who died in a ghastly auto accident recently, by developing and enforcing road safety codes and standards in Nigeria.

A statement issued yesterday ‎by the President of the Foundation, Mr. Abdul Audu, made available to journalists in Kaduna said the call has become imperative, as avoidable road crashes have claimed many lives on Nigerian roads.

According to Audu, “Nigeria and the Igala Kingdom in particular, have lost a hero and a beacon of hope in ‎Barrister James Enejo Ocholi. He died when the Igala nation, Kogi State and Nigeria needed him most.”

The request is good but we must speak to ourselves too.
Many of us behave stupidly once behind the wheels through reckless driving.
