Commissioner of Police, Imo State Command, Audu Garba Bosso has called for partnerships and collaborations that would guarantee quality health and general well-being of police and other security personnel in the country.

CP Bosso who stated this while receiving essential medicines donated to the command by Patricklingo Pharmaceuticals at the command’s headquarters, on Wednesday, noted that the health of officers is critical to maintaining an effective policing.

He thanked the drugs company for the gesture and assured that the medicines would be judiciously utilized at no cost to further compliment efforts by the Inspector General of Police, the state governor and the command towards ensuring adequate welfare of personnel.

He also appealed to good spirited individuals, organizations and members of the public to always partner and support the command in all areas that would enhance operational effectiveness of personnel.

“The Command encourages well-meaning individuals and organizations to emulate this initiative, as collective support remains vital in strengthening policing and ensuring public safety across Imo State.” Bosso said.

Earlier, the Chief Executive Officer of the company, Chief Onwuelingo Patrick Uchechukwu, said the donation reflects a strong commitment of the company to supporting officers who risk their lives and health in the line of duty.

He furthered that the initiative was aimed at enhancing the capacity of the Police Medical Department and improving access to essential medications for officers and men of the command.
