THE Imo State Government says it has recorded remarkable pupil and student enrollment in various public primary and secondary schools in the 27 local councils of the state.

Governor Rochas Okorocha who stated yesterday while addressing some education officials in Owerri, the state capital, noted that records available indicated that since the free education policy was rolled out by his administration in the state, enrolment in the Senior Secondary School went up from 17 to 77 per cent, with figures from 395,000 to 850,000 in both primary and secondary schools.
