The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Kaduna State Chapter, has urged the government and security agencies to prosecute any pastor who fake his kidnap, saying that the nation must thrive to end the menace of security challenges.

The Kaduna CAN was reacting to the police comment that a pastor and a conspirator who faked kidnapping were in the security net.

A statement yesterday by the state Chairman of CAN, Revd. Joseph Hayab, said that “any pastor or Christian who fake his kidnap or is confirmed to have any dirty business to do with kidnappers should be arrested and prosecuted.”
