The Radio Director’s family of Afara Ukwu in Umuahia North LGA Abia state made the plea Friday when journalists visited their home in Afara Ukwu Umuahia Abia state where his father, Eze Isreal Kanu has been the traditional ruler for the past fifteen years.

Eze Kanu who spoke in the presence of his wife Nnenne, last daughter Chinwendu and last son Emmanuel said he was unfit to travel to Abuja to see his son adding that his son’s detention is part of his ill health.

“I was surprised to hear that my son who was coming home to see me was arrested and detained at Abuja and when I asked the reason for his arrest, nobody told me.

“But I got some relief when my son whom I sent to Abuja to see him came back reporting that my detained son was not only healthy but spoke to him.
