The Lagos State Government has announced the installation of a Computed Tomography (CT) scan facility at the Gbajabiamila General Hospital in Surulere.
A CT scan is a non-invasive medical imaging test that uses X-rays and computer technology to produce detailed cross-sectional images of the body.
This medical machine helps doctors diagnose and monitor a wide range of medical conditions, including injuries, cancers, and vascular diseases.
This upgrade is expected to enhance healthcare delivery and provide quality medical services to residents of Lagos State.
The state government, in a short tweet on Friday, revealed that the hospital, located beside Stadium Hotel in Iyun.
It also announced that it will offer the service to patients with a 50% discount for the next two weeks.
The government, however, invited the public to take advantage of the new facility, assuring them of hospitality and quality healthcare.
The tweet read, “Gbajabiamila General Hospital, Iyun, besides Stadium Hotel Surulere, have now commenced full CT SCAN, for Patients, with 50 per cent Discount for two weeks,”
