Lagos returnees arrested in Jos show no COVID-19 symptom
The nine commercial motorcyclists who were arrested on Sunday in Jos, Plateau State, while returning from Lagos through Kaduna were yesterday cleared, as they did not show any symptom of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
Arrested for unlawfully entering the state when it is under lockdown, they were subjected to investigation, but they came out clean.
They were, however, ordered into quarantine for 14 days.
The health officer in Barkin Ladi Council, who carried out the investigation, confirmed their clean bill of health to the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Prof. Danladi Atu.
During a visit to where they are kept in Heipang, Atu directed that the nine Barkin Ladi natives be isolated for two weeks.
They reportedly left Lagos when commercial motorcycles were banned in the state.
