Lagos to host expo on renewable energy, electric vehicles

Lagos will host the REEV Africa Expo 2025 this November, putting Nigeria’s renewable energy and electric vehicle (EV) sector in the spotlight.

Organized by EV Planet Ltd, the event will bring together experts, investors, innovators, and policymakers to discuss the future of sustainable energy and transportation in Nigeria. It will also provide a platform for showcasing new technologies and building partnerships in a sector seen as crucial to the country’s energy transition.

According to the organizers, the expo comes at a critical time as Nigeria explores alternatives to fossil fuels amid growing global calls for cleaner, more sustainable energy solutions.

“REEV Africa Expo is designed to spark conversations and collaborations that will position Nigeria at the forefront of renewable energy and electric mobility in Africa,” they said.

The five-day event will feature exhibitions, product launches, workshops, and conferences where industry leaders will share insights on the evolving market. Analysts say the expo could mark a turning point for local businesses and attract international investors looking to tap into Nigeria’s expanding renewable energy and EV ecosystem.

With the global energy industry rapidly shifting toward sustainability, stakeholders believe REEV Africa Expo 2025 could help shape the policies and opportunities that will define Nigeria’s energy future.
