THE Vice Chancellor of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) Ogbomoso, Professor Adeniyi Gbadegesin has canvassed prompt building of a strong institutional framework as a catalyst for socio-political and economic growth of Nigeria.

Gbadegesin, while declaring open the first International Conference on Institutional Frameworks, Building and National Development bankrolled by the Department of Management and Accounting of LAUTECH said no nation, irrespective of its natural and human resources ever survived without a veritable framework.

For him, while addressing the capacity audience at the event, the world economy is shifting its base from churning out graduates who seek for white-collar job to those who rather than seeking for job, create job.

Therefore, the much needed change in Nigeria must be a change of orientations of “all Nigerians” by keying themselves into entrepreneurial activities in small/medium scales, and pay their taxes to encourage government’s drive towards the provision of social infrastructure that would guarantee an acceptable living standard.
