Lawmaker advises Buhari to ensure looters are prosecuted
A member of Sokoto State House of Assembly, Alhaji Ibrahim Kabiru (APC), has advised President Muhammadu Buhari not to relent in his fight against corruption.
Kabiru, who gave the advice on Sunday in Sokoto in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), urged Buhari to ensure that all those found guilty of embezzling the national treasury are prosecuted.
He said that the insecurity challenges facing the country were as a result of corruption by public officers in the last administration.
The legislator urged the government to ensure that looted funds are recovered, adding that such funds should be used in rehabilitating ailing industries in the country.
Kabiru, who represents Kware constituency, appealed to judges handling corrupt cases to ensure diligent prosecution of the cases brought before them.

Mr Buhari, please release the stolen money to states so they can pay their hungry workers! You seem too slow and people are suffering.
We will review and take appropriate action.
