
The organisation has been actively involved in community development projects for several years, with notable achievements such as the successful implementation of a similar borehole project in Iberekodo Community, under Ibeju-lekki Council, as well as the renovation of Lakowe Primary Health Centre.
The commissioning event, which was hosted by LBSAA executives, witnessed the presence of esteemed guests, including President of LBSAA, Agada Apochi, Chairman of the project committee, Tunde Daramola, a committee member, Dr. Alex Orewa, LBS Alumni Director, Henry Andoh, and other members of the LBS Alumni office.
Additionally, Chief Adeniran Waliu, Omotayo Moye, the community head (Baale), and members of the Community Development Association (CDA), alongside community leaders and residents, actively participated in the event.
During the commissioning, the LBSAA highlighted the association’s objectives and aims, emphasising their commitment to social responsibility and its dedication to development of communities.
He noted that the WASH project remains a constant priority for LBSAA, as they recognise the need for improved access to water and sanitation in communities.
