Low turnout marred Kebbi LG election

The Local Government Election held in Kebbi State yesterday, was marred by low turnout of voters in some polling Units across the state.

While monitoring the election, The Guardian observed that more women turnout to cast their votes than men. Above all, the exercise was peaceful and well coordinated.

Addressing journalists shortly after he casted his vote in Nasarwa, Kebbi State Governor, Senator Atiku Abubakar Bagudu, commended the State Independent Electoral Commission and security agents for the peaceful conduct of the election.
