Mbah hails ex-commissioner’s elevation to NIS fellow

Enugu State Governor, Peter Mbah, has stressed the need for dedication and hard work as tools that could distinguish people in their chosen career.

He stated that adherence to hard work in every area of life would manifest in benefits, irrespective of the length of time it could take, and therefore, charged Nigerians to be steadfast in their dealings.

Mbah stated this when he congratulated the former commissioner for lands and urban development in the state, Professor Victor Nnam, who was recently elevated to the prestigious rank of Fellow of the Nigerian Institution of Surveyors (NIS).

Mbah stated that the fear was a result of hard work, describing Nnam as a pride to the state.

In a message conveyed through his Chief of Staff, Victor Udeh, the governor stated that his administration would continue to be guided by the virtues of hard work and dedication.

While conveying the good wishes of the people of the state to Nnam, Mbah stated that he was convinced that the honour would enable him to do more in the academic world and for the people in general.

“I convey the earnest felicitation and happy cheers of the government and good people of Enugu State to you on your elevation to the prestigious rank of Fellow of the Nigerian Institution of Surveyors,” he stated

Mbah praised Professor Nnam’s dedication and professional accomplishments, noting that his recognition by the NIS marks the culmination of a distinguished career in service to the state and the country.

“Whilst congratulating you for reaching the apogee of your professional calling, please accept the assurances of our best wishes,” he added.

The Governor’s message joins a growing list of tributes from leaders and professional bodies across Nigeria, celebrating Prof. Nnam’s investiture as a Fellow of one of the country’s foremost professional institutions.

Nnam, a renowned academic and former commissioner, is a professor of Geoinformatics and Surveying with decades of impactful service in land administration and spatial science.
