Authorities of the Military Pensions Board (MPB) have alerted the public of the existence of a fake website address purportedly launched by the board.

In a statement yesterday in Abuja, the board’s Public Relations Officer (PRO), Flt. Lt. Ikenna Ezendu, gave the name of the sham portal as mpbnigeria.com”.

“The Board, however, frowns at this development especially now that it has been repositioned to serve military pensioners who served the nation diligently. The Board, therefore, categorically disassociates itself from this fake website and urged the general public to take note.”

The statement added that the pensioners and stakeholders need to be notified that the authentic website, www.mpb.ng, remained functional and accessible to all.
