Ondo State Governor, Olusegun Mimiko, has condoled with his Ebonyi State counterpart, David Umahi over the death of his mother even as he send his condolences to the Bayelsa State Governor, Seriake Dickson and the people of the state over the sudden death of the former governor of the state, Diepereye Alamieyeseigha.

Commiserating with  Umahi over the death of his mother, Mrs Margaret Umahi, Mimiko in  a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Eni Akinsola, said he was sure the late deaconess lived a great and rewarding life having sired and raised wonderful children among whom is Governor David Umahi.
“We have heard stories of her being a devout Christian, a kind hearted woman and generous personality , who lived a life of dedication to the service of God and humanity.

Her successful life as a great woman remarkably reflects in the life of Governor Umahi, who we have come to see as a gentle, responsible and responsive leader. Her death at 84 can not be said to be untimely, nonetheless we know her demise would leave a space in the lives of the children which no one but God can fill.”

Mimiko, who prayed for fortitude to Umahi and his siblings as well as pray for the repose of the soul of the departed, urged the governor and his siblings to be comforted by the fact that Deaconess Umahi died a happy woman having lived long enough to witness the enviable accomplishments of her children.

In the same vein, Mimiko has condoled with the  Bayelsa State Governor, Seriake Dickson and the people of the state  over the death of the former governor of the state, DSP Alamieyeseigha, whose sudden death occurred at the weekend.
Mimiko prayed God to give the governor, the people of the state and family of the late the fortitude to bear the  irreparable loss.
