Minister seeks synergy with Ondo on project implementation

The Minister of Niger Delta, Pastor Usani Uguru Usani has described the states in the Niger Delta region as fundamental to the development of the country.

Speaking during a courtesy visit to Ondo state governor, Dr Olusegun Mimiko in his office, Usani said his mission to the state was to create a worthy rapport between the Federal Ministry of Niger Delta and the Ondo State Government, particularly the State being one of the Niger Delta States.

The Minister in company of the Minister of State, Prof. Cladius Daramola sought the cooperation and collaboration of the Ondo State government in all areas of development particularly to complete all ongoing projects.

Mimiko stressed the need for the Ministry of Niger Delta to give priority to peaceful states like Ondo during the articulation and implementation of its projects.

According to the Governor, such measure will spur state governments and their people to priotize peace as a panacea to sustainable development.

He posited that his administration has giving security its deserved attention, resulting in the unprecedented development of the State.

He said the ministers have started right by seeking synergy in projects articulation and actualization adding that his administration is making municipal water available to the people of Ilaje and Ese-Odo in addition to on going road projects in the area.

He assured of collaboration with the Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs, particularly the Minister of State, Prof Claudius Daramola by the Ondo State government, so that all the projects formulated by the Ministry are benefited by the host communities.
