Minister To Flag Off Education Confab

EDUCATION Minister, Adamu Adamu will on Monday, in Abuja, declare open the maiden edition of a yearly conference on education, focused on using evidence to direct the policy and practice of basic education in Nigeria.

The conference is being organised by the Federal Ministry of Education with the UK Department for International Development project EDOREN (Education data research and evaluation in Nigeria).

It aims to bring together top policy makers, government officials, researchers and other key stakeholders working in Nigeria’s education sector to share research evidence and discuss its application to education policy-making and practice.
