ekitiWHEN one Mrs Ajibola, a mother of three and resident of No 4, Ajebamidele Street, Ado Ekiti announced to her neighbours and landlords that she wanted to address a “World Press Conference” on Tuesday, none of them knew she was inviting them to come and see her committing suicide by hanging.

By the time her guests arrived her house to listen to her “address,” she was already a dead woman.

The incident has thrown the residents into a mourning mood, as they are yet to unravel the mystery behind the suicide.

“It was when we were searching for her that we saw her dangling body hung on the roof in her house,” a landlord who pleaded for anonymity told The Guardian.

The source said the victim had been sick and treated several times,adding that “ many times, she had threatened to take her own life.
