The National Assembly will hold public hearing on the country’s power grid on October 22, 2022 as part of efforts to address the country’s power crisis, the House Committee Chairman on Power, Da’u Aliyu, has hinted.

Aliyu told newsmen in Dutse that the idea was to hear from members of the public on burning issues affecting the general operation of Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) on remote causes of power grid failure, power distribution, the billing system, operational success and failure of TCN, privatisation of the power sector, among others.
