Wants ‘demons’ exorcised from Aso Villa
The Chaplain of Aso Rock, Pastor Seyi Malomo, yesterday declared that the nation’s destiny was at risk over the alleged invasion of the seat of power by demons.

He was reacting to a recent disclosure by a former presidential spokesman, Dr. Reuben Abati, that demons had taken over the place. The cleric, who described the assertion as a shame on the body of Christ, spoke at a seminar to mark the 2016 Founder’s Day of the proposed Precious Cornerstone University, owned by the Sword of the Spirit Ministries in Ibadan, Oyo State.

Malomo disclosed that Abati’s submission should be seen as a challenge to all Nigerians because of its implication. He went: “Should demons take over the place as said, it means the destruction of our destiny because wrong policies would be coming out of the place and that would affect all of us.

“As a nation, we must all do what we can to reclaim the place from the demons, if it is even true.”Malomo challenged the congregation on the need to develop streams of earnings to beat the current recession, stressing that there was no way a single income could sustain anybody under the current economic dispensation.

Citing various scriptures to buttress his position, the cleric maintained that “there are several opportunities around for people to tap into, only that we all need to be observant and know both our strong and weak points when it comes to financial dealings.”

Another speaker and pioneer vice chancellor of Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD), Prof. Sidi Osho, stressed the need for people to pay serious attention to agriculture, noting that one does not need to be an expert before engaging in farming.

While maintaining that life-changing opportunities abound in agriculture, she, however, lamented that present -day youths were only mostly interested in making quick money.

The founder, Francis Wale Oke, disclosed that the National Universities Commission (NUC) had certified the take-off of the institution, adding that the promoters were only awaiting a public pronouncement from the Federal Executive Council to clear the way for the granting of licence.
