
The Nigerian Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), the Nigeria Union of Journalists(NUJ) and the Ministry of Information have hailed the managerial and organisational capability of the Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Information, Ini Ememobong.
They observed that the commissioner has been able to organise the information ministry so well that all segments of the state are carried along and well-informed about the activities of the state government.
They made the comments as they visited the commissioner to felicitate with him on his 40th birthday.
The state command of the Nigerian Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, which visited the commissioner in his office at Idongesit Nkanga Secretariat Complex, Uyo, bearing gifts and birthday cake, was represented by three of its top officials, including the command’s PRO, Joy Agomuo, Blessing Joseph Okon and Okechukwu Eni.
Presenting gifts, the leader of the team, CSN Joy Agomuo, expressed the best wishes of the state command to Ememobong and prayed for a continuous impactful life of service to humanity.
On their part, the management staff of the Ministry of Information, led by the Permanent Secretary, Akparawa James Edet, and the Executives of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Akwa Ibom State Council, led by the Chairman, Amos Etuk, visited Ememobong at his Emmanuel’s Court Shelter Afrique residence in Uyo.
The two groups presented birthday cake and gifts to the Information Commissioner and joined in the cutting of the cake amidst birthday chants and pleasantries.
The groups also eulogised the Information Commissioner for being a jolly good fellow who has been their strong pillar and supporter and wished in many happy years ahead in sound health and prosperity.
In his response, Ememobong thanked the State NDLEA, the management of the Ministry of Information, and the NUJ for the show of love on his birthday and for being dependable allies in the success of the Ministry of Information and Akwa Ibom State Government in general.
