A Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), i-Scholar Initiative (i-SI), has opened an application to help young Nigerians with the payment of standardised test fees for various international post-graduate studies programmes.
A statement by i-SI VP, Operations, Hanatu Banjoko, said that the scholarship would provide for the payment of standardised test fees, predetermined number of graduate school application fees, provide an end-to-end mentorship where scholars are assigned to mentors and expose them to professional networking opportunities.
The application, according to her, opened on Monday, January 8, 2024 and would close on Thursday, February 8, 2024.
He said: “Interested applicants are expected to apply via https://ischolarinitiative.org. Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited Nigerian institution with Second Class Upper grade or higher, must be ready to take the standardised tests latest by August 2024 and must be ready to apply for admission in the 2024/2025 application window.
“Interested applicants are expected to submit a 500-word personal statement, CV/resume, examination study plan, two reference letters, first degree transcript and first degree certificate or statement of result during the course of the application.”
