Lend a Hand For Africa (LAHAfrica) has provided scholarships to over 5,000 students living in slums across Nigeria.
According to the group, it is dedicated to giving children and young adults access to basic and quality education to bring a complete reform in their lives and on the community at large.
The group, which addresses inequality in education through educational programmes for low-income children in Africa, stated this while celebrating seven years of its scholarship project in Nigeria as its immediate community.
The Founder/Executive Director, LAHAfrica, Abimbola Ajala, said the group has provided a flexible environment for children and young adults to access education through payment of tuition fees, provision of daily meals, provision of school essentials and a platform to engage and interact with them outside of school.
