Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, has disclosed that the state government is intervening in 18 federal road projects across the state.

The governor said the intervention was to complement the efforts of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in achieving the Renewed Hope agenda.

Bago stated this during an interactive engagement in Abuja between the Ministry of Works, Niger State Government, and contractors handling various federal road projects across Niger State

At the session, ongoing federal road projects in Niger State were reviewed with a view to addressing grey areas.

Umahi, on his part, commended the governor for carrying out intervention works on several federal roads across the state.

Umahi, who described the governor’s efforts as unprecedented, noted that Bago had shown exemplary leadership by leading the state delegation to such a meeting.
