Nigeria, Palestine to sign M.O.U on Education
The Federal Government is set to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Educational cooperation with the State of Palestine.
Education minister, Malam Adamu Adamu stated this yesterday in Abuja, when he received the Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Nigeria, His Excellency Mr. Saleh AS’AD Saleh Fhied who paid a courtesy call on the Minister.
According to the Minister, the Memorandum of Understanding will help strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.
The Minister also promised to ensure that students of the State of Palestine are given access to study in Nigeria Universities.
Earlier in his address to the Minister, Ambassador AS’AD appealed for Educational Support for Palestinian Students to enable them study in diverse fields in Nigerian universities. Both countries are yet to have any Bilateral Agreement on Educational Cooperation
