The Minister of Women Affairs, Pauline Tallen, at the weekend said the recently launched sex offenders’ register, containing the data of sexual offenders, would be given prominence next year.

During a familiarisation tour of the National Centre for Women Development (NCWD), the minister stated that issues of sexual violence against women and girls must be brought to an end.

She was at the centre to inspect its facilities and hall of fame.

Tallen pledged that the register would be fully implemented next year to serve as a deterrent to others.
