Arewa, Useh communities commend Obaseki for development, inclusive governance 

The Arewa Community in Edo State has commended Governor Godwin Obaseki for his administration’s developmental strides across the state, especially in critical sectors

The Arewa Community in Edo State has commended Governor Godwin Obaseki for his administration’s developmental strides across the state, especially in critical sectors such as infrastructure, education, health, agriculture, and others.
 
Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Arewa Community, Abdullahi Ibrahim, who led other members of the group on a visit to the Government House in Benin City, commended the governor for prioritising the people in his policies and programmes.

 
Reaffirming the group’s support towards the realisation of the Making Edo Great (MEGA) Agenda, Ibrahim said Obaseki’s style of inclusive governance had ensured that development got to every part of the state.
 
“We shall continue to offer our constructive advice to ensure the state remains in peace and unity. We will ensure we advise our people who are into cattle rearing not to be involved in farmers-herders clashes,” he said.
 
On his part, Obaseki commended the Arewa Community for their support in ensuring that the state enjoyed peace and unity.
 
Obaseki, who was represented by his Chief of Staff (COS), Osaigbovo Iyoha, urged the people of the community to continue to support and collaborate with this administration for continuous development in the State.
 
He also charged the group to mobilise their people and ensure that they register in the ongoing exercise by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to enable them to vote in future elections in the state.
 
Also, the leadership of the Useh Community led by the Edigin N’ Yan Useh, Chief Ekpen Edigin, applauded the governor’s sustained investment in education and rehabilitation of the Useh Primary School.
