The House also urged the commissioner to embrace inclusivity in leadership and avoid distractions.

The Chairman of the Committee, Adama Kawu, said the visit was to familiarise with the commissioner following his appointment by Gov. Bala Mohammed.

He urged the commissioner to accord premium to quality works, ensuring that all road construction projects meet the highest standards of durability and efficiency.

Kawu said that well-constructed roads, not only enhance transportation and economic activities, but also improve the overall wellbeing of the people.

The statement also quoted, Bala Abdu-Rishi, a member of the committee, as emphasising the importance of sincerity, dedication and an unwavering commitment to excellence in the execution of development projects.

He highlighted the pivotal role of the ministry in driving infrastructural development, particularly in the area of road construction and maintenance.
