The Adamawa State Police Command has announced the arrest of three armed robbery suspects who have been terrorising the Numan–Demsa highway.
The spokesperson of the Adamawa State Police, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, in a statement on Thursday said the suspects have been on wanted list.
Nguroje said they were involved in a robbery on July 1, 2025 and carted away phones & accessories worth ₦2.8m.
According to the police spokesperson, one suspect was also arrested as a receiver.
Nguroje added that all three suspects are in custody, and will be charged to court after investigation.
The Adamawa State Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris, has commended the efforts of the Security Investigative Department (SID) operatives and local hunters.
CP Morris has also urged the public to stay vigilant and report suspicious activities.
