The Office of the Civic Engagement under the Lagos State Government in partnership with Alaro City has launched the post natal presentation of food packs to nursing mothers in the state.

The launch, which kicked off in the Epe division of the state, had over 50 beneficiaries from the ante- natal scheme anchored by the Senior Special Adviser to the state governor on civic engagement, Princess Aderemi Adebowale.

Adebowale, who was represented by the Director public affairs civic engagement Mrs Olatokunbo Dawodu, admonished the beneficiaries of the scheme to make good use of this opportunity by following the prescription.

She said the programme is part of the THEMES agenda of the governor of Lagos state, Mr Babajide Sanwolu.

The SSA commended Alaro city, one of the partners of the scheme, while calling on other private companies to emulate them.

In his remark, the Council Chairman of Ibeju Lekki Local Government, Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, hailed the initiative of the Lagos State Government and Alaro City for the laudable programme.

Appreciating the laudable gesture, one of the recipients, Mrs Tolulope Adebisi, thanked the Lagos state government for this wonderful programme, saying it is a life changing experience.

According to her, the pack given to them during the ante-natal stage really helped them through pregnancy stage, adding that she has no doubt it will help the their children through their development.

A representative of Alaro City, urged the mothers to make judicious of the packs given, while encouraging the state government to continue this laudable project aimed at making the society a better place.
