Ndokwa Association of Atlanta, USA, has partnered with Paul Okoku’s Greater Tomorrow Children’s Foundation (GTCF), to bring hope and smiles to pupils of Igbe Primary School, Ogume, in Ndokwa West Local Government Area, Delta State.

The humanitarian initiative, led by former Super Eagles star, Edema Fuludu, Mobosa Brodericks,  Andrew Uti, and Pastor Peter Nwosa, delivered school bags containing essential educational supplies. Each bag was thoughtfully packed with one school uniform, four notebooks, six pens, six pencils, and four rulers, ensuring that every child receives the tools needed to succeed academically. The event also featured refreshments, including biscuits and soft drinks, provided to the children, staff, and parents in attendance.

Speaking at the event, Fuludu praised the tireless dedication of the liaison, Attorney Ani Oluku, Mr. Daniel Opene, President of the Ndokwa Association, and Paul Okoku, the founder of GTCF.

“Although Paul Okoku and the Ndokwa Association are based in the United States, their hearts remain firmly connected to the Ogume community and the welfare of Nigeria’s vulnerable children,” he remarked.

Fuludu highlighted the long-term vision of these leaders, emphasizing their broader mission to advocate for the revitalization of primary education.”

“Paul Okoku’s efforts go beyond this event, he is leading a national initiative to bring attention to primary schools and inspire others to support their respective schools, while continuing to support their high schools and universities. Primary schools are the cornerstone of our academic journey, yet they have been neglected for far too long,” Fuludu stated.

“By investing in children at this critical stage of their development, we are planting seeds for a brighter and more prosperous future. The impact of this support will extend far beyond the classrooms of today, shaping the leaders and achievers of tomorrow.”

Mrs. Veronica C. Olise, Headmistress of Igbe Primary School, expressed heartfelt gratitude for the intervention, saying, “Many of our pupils face daunting financial challenges, and this initiative is a lifeline for them. I cannot thank the donors, President Daniel Opene, the Ndokwa Association of Atlanta, and Chief Paul Okoku enough for their kindness. May God bless them abundantly for their selflessness.”

The PTA Chairman and parents also conveyed deep appreciation, commending the initiative as a morale booster for the children. They prayed for the donors’ continued success, noting that the provision of uniforms and school supplies would significantly uplift the pupils’ academic performance and confidence.

This successful collaboration underscores the visionary leadership of Ndokwa Association’s President, Mr. Daniel Opene, and the unyielding support of key figures like Chief Attorney Ani Oluku, former president Dr. Vincent Chukwumah, and the entire membership. Their collective commitment to education highlights the belief that fostering young minds through early intervention is crucial to building a society of empowered and enlightened individuals.

The partnership between Ndokwa Association of Atlanta and Greater Tomorrow Children’s Foundation exemplifies the power of unity and compassion in addressing societal challenges. Together, they are creating a sustainable impact by inspiring hope and equipping underserved communities with the tools necessary to build a brighter future.
