Prince Justin Diegwu Ezenekwe, alias Ome Mgbe Oji, who died on January 4, 2025, aged 95, will be buried on Wednesday, April 23, 2025.

Funeral rites begin with a Service of Songs on Tuesday, April 22, at his homestead in Ezenekwe’s Estates, near Nkwoagu, Nanka, Orumba North Local Council, Anambra State at 5 p.m. to be followed by interment on Wednesday, April 23 after a funeral service in his compound at 9 a.m.

Pa Ezenekwe, who was born on January 11, 1930 to the family of the first Obunanka (Igwe) of Nanka, HRH Igwe J. N. Ezenekwe retired as a lecturer from the Federal Polytechnic Oko, Anambra State in 1995, but remained a dedicated lay reader in the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion).

He is survived by children, grandchildren,  great-grandchildren, and numerous relatives including his son, Chief CDC Ezenekwe, CEO of Davjol Prints, a media services and printing company based in Lagos.
