No fewer than 123 drug dispensing outlets operating either in unregistered premises or engaging in illicit dispensation of drugs in various locations in Osun state have been sanctioned by the regulatory body, the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria {PCN].

PCN’s Director of Inspection and Monitoring Department, Mrs  Anthonia  Aruya  said the activities of the unapproved drug sales outlets  in the country constitute serious danger to the health of the nation.

She told reporters in Osogbo that the Council received reports of unregistered premises in Osun and while its officials conducted an inspection in the state and sealed off the premises and sales outlets of the offenders.
