Kaduna Police Command has assured citizens of the state of their safety during the Christmas celebration and reaffirmed its commitment to strengthen security in every community.

Commissioner of Police Ibrahim Abdullahi, in a statement, affirmed the Command’s unwavering commitment and readiness to maintain peace and order throughout the festive season.

According to him, “proactive measures have been put in place to address potential security challenges and to reassure citizens of their safety during this period of celebration.”

Major deployments of the kidnapping unit, anti-vice section, CP monitoring unit, and Operation Fushin Kada has all been made in strategic flashpoints within the state, he said.

He urged the public to avoid actions that could disrupt the peace and security of the state, stressing that “the youths are warned to refrain from the use of banned items like fireworks, knockouts, and any other materials capable of causing fear or unrest in the streets.”

Abdullahi commended the collaborative efforts of various stakeholders in promoting a harmonious atmosphere across the state.

He assured “the public that the Command will continue to prioritize the protection of lives and property, working tirelessly to prevent crime and uphold peace during this festive period and beyond.”
