Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura of Nasarawa State has described the problem rocking the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, as a normal political situation, which the party would soon overcome.

The Governor, who stated this in Lafia, the state capital during an interview with journalists, says the crisis was unfortunate but that despite the incidence, the party remains united and unshaken.

He then disclosed that the caucus of the party and members of the Board of Trustees (BoT) would be meeting on Tuesday to take a final stand over the leadership crisis in the National Assembly.

He expressed optimism that after the meeting, the party will come out stronger and more united than ever before.
“There is nothing abnormal about what happened, it is politics because APC is conglomerate of different interests,” he said.

“I consider what happened in the National Assembly as something natural and in spite of the bad blood that was generated during the elections we remain one family.”

Maintaining that leaders of the party will find a lasting solution to the problem and ensured that the crisis do not split the party.
