LEGAL practitioners under the aegis of ‘Lawyers for Change’ has staged a road show in Ibadan, Oyo state capital where they expressed their support for the All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari and his running mate Prof. Yemi Osinbajo ahead of next month presidential election.

The rally took off from the Afe Babalola Bar Center, Iyaganku, to Dugbe and Sabo area of the city before returning to the Bar Centre.

Representatives of the group who took turns to address traders and the people of Ibadan said Buhari had the political will to change Nigeria for better. They also distribute free leaflets, which had different messages that supported Buhari’s candidature ad urge the people to vote for him in next month’s presidential election

Coodinator of the group, Adesina Ogunlana, said it was vital for the lawyers to add their voice to the clamour for change of leadership in Nigeria.

Ogunlana stressed that Nigerians were tired of the rise in insecurity and corruption among other challenges confronting the nation.

He accused the president Goodluck Jonathan administration of false assurances and unfulfilled promises, adding that as professional lawyers, they were not partisan but only being patriotic.

On his part, former deputy governor in the state, Iyiola Oladokun, who was part of the group, urged the people to put aside all differences and embrace the APC candidate.
