MCIU holds Ibru memorial lecture today at combined convocation
The Michael and Cecilia Ibru University (MCIU) will today hold its combined second and third convocation ceremonies and the fifth Olorogun Michael C. O. Ibru memorial lecture.
According to the university, a series of activities have been planned for this year’s event, including medical outreach, community service and drama exhibition, among others, to celebrate the life and impact of the founder, Olorogun Michael Ibru.
The memorial lecture with the theme: Nigeria Of The Future will be delivered by Olorogun Charles Majoroh, while Olorogun Peter Igho will deliver the convocation lecture.
Award of first degrees, certificates and prizes to graduating students of the faculties of Management and Social Sciences, Natural and Applied Sciences will hold in the morning and afternoon sessions.
The MCIU is licensed to operate as a private tertiary institution and is fully accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC) to award first and postgraduate degrees.
