Okwuofu Warns Youths Against Political Violence

DELTA State PeopleS Democratic Party’s (PDP), Campaign Director of Mobilisation, Chief Nkem Okwuofu has admonished youths of Delta North extraction not to mortgage their future on the altar of pecuniary rewards from desperate politicians seeking political power at all cost.

Okwuofu, who gave the charge while speaking to journalists in Asaba, the state capital, enjoined them to be guided by their future and development aspiration while casting their votes.

The Campaign Director explained that it would be a wrong political judgment for the people of Delta North not to vote for all PDP candidates in the general elections.

Okwuofu described Delta North PDP Senatorial Candidate, Chief Peter Nwaoboshi as a square peg in a square hole, who is not only a defender of the cause of the common man, but a tested and dependable grassroots politician determined to turn every opportunity to the greatest advantage of the Anioma nation and Delta State, if elected.

She noted with satisfaction that for over seven years Nwaoboshi was on the saddle as the State Party Chairman, he cooperated with both the executive and legislative arms of government in building a stable, result-oriented, disciplined and cohesive party structure capable of securing electoral victory for the PDP in every electoral contest.

Okwuofu said the victory of the PDP in the March 28 Presidential and National Assembly elections in the state would not only have a positive effect, but also give an added impetus to the overall electoral fortunes of the PDP in the governorship and State House of Assembly polls.

She argued that for the Delta State governorship standard bearer, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa to win convincingly, the people of Delta North must vote massively for PDP in all the elections.
