President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of 21 new federal commissioners for the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC)

President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of some federal commissioners for the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC).

Special Adviser to President Tinubu (Media & Publicity), Ajuri Ngelale, announced the appointment of the 21 commissioners in a statement on Tuesday night.

“Appointed are Linda Nkechi Oti — Abia, Mr. Akpan Imo Effiong — Akwa Ibom, Mr. Enefe Ekene — Anambra, Professor Steve Ugba — Benue and Chief Eyonsa — Cross-River,” Ngelale said.

Others are Aruviere Egharhevwe — Delta, Nduka Henry Awuregu — Ebonyi, Mr. Victor Eboigbe — Edo, Honourable Wumi Ogunlola — Ekiti and Honourable Ozo Obumreme Obodougo — Enugu.

Also appointed are Alhaji Kabir Ibrahim Mashi — Katsina, Honourable Adamu Fanda — Kano, Dr. Kunle Wright — Lagos, Mr. Aliyu Almakura Abdulkadir — Nasarawa and Mr. Bako Shetima — Niger.

Making up the list of appointees are Mr. Samuel Durojaye — Ogun, Mr. Nathaniel Adejutelegan — Ondo, Honourable Saad Bello Ibrahim — Plateau, Mr. Modu-Aji Juluri — Yobe, Alhaji Bello Rabiu Garba — Zamfara and Mr. Mohammed Kabeer Usman — Gombe.

According to Ngelale, the appointments are subject to confirmation by the Senate.

“President Tinubu expects the new federal commissioners to demonstrate absolute fidelity to the nation in the discharge of their duties,” Ngelale added.
