Comrade Obiora Omeje has commended Barrister Deji Adeyanju for his dedication and commitment to the cause of the downtrodden in Nigeria, just as he has taken time to congratulate Raphael Adebayor on his latest appointment.

Omeje, also known as Zigma, who himself is a senior fellow of THE ABUJA SCHOOL OF SOCIAL AND POLITICAL THOUGHTS and a human rights activist, said he singled out Adeyanju for praise because of the genuineness of his mission to help the helpless in matters of social justice and human rights.

He said, “The way Adeyanju champions the affairs of the ordinary Nigerian who has no one to defend him is truly inspiring. He often does this against powerful people and institutions, armed with nothing but the law, his raw courage, and moral strength.”

In the same vein, Comrade Omeje, while congratulating Adebayor, who is the convener of Concerned Nigerians, prayed for his success, noting that it was a case of a round peg in a round hole, as his pedigree was a testament to what he was capable of doing towards fulfilling the expectations of the people.

He said, “We pray that as you assume office, the Almighty God will provide you with wisdom, ingenuity, and strength to advance the cause of the organization and civil society at large in the country.”

He believes that under him, issues of rights and democracy advancement would continue to receive the energetic advocacy needed for the projected impacts to be felt in society.

Omeje, who is a symbol that symbolizes the Concerned Nigerians organization in the Southeast and Nigeria at large, has rooted the injustice meted out to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu by the Nigerian judiciary.

“We also demand urgent reforms in the judiciary,” he pleaded to Mr. President for his release. “We will continue to engage and fight until our dream Nigeria is realized.”
