Born and raised in Lagos, the 29-year-old music minister hails from Delta State and is captivating audiences with his powerful vocals, soothing violin and inspiring lyrics.

Before pursuing music, Ogaga studied computer science at Covenant University, trained at India and co-founded a couple of tech startups where he also doubled as a senior software developer. However, his love for music always remained, as he had also been playing as a first violinist in major classical orchestras in Lagos for many years.

In 2019, he had a divine encounter that led him to focus on his music career. He was invited by gospel music minister, Sinach to join her worship team, SLIC, and from there, his musical journey took off.

“My journey in music started from the church, and it has always been gospel-oriented,” Ogaga said. “The church trained and sponsored me to study first computer science at Covenant University and then music including all my international music certifications from the Royal Schools of Music in London.”

Ogaga’s music showcases a fusion of modern contemporary sounds with hints of classical influences from his background as a classical violinist. His sound has been described as heavenly, soothing, and victorious.

In addition to his music career, Ogaga is privileged to be involved in organising the Quarterly Press-In Worship concert series, which showcases captivating worship experiences in different locations around the world.
