Njoku urges unity in APGA to secure victory in Imo, Kogi, Bayelsa guber polls
The National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Edozie Njoku, has asked aggrieved members of the party to join hands with him to rebuild the party.
Speaking to journalists in Abuja, yesterday, he said it is important that well-meaning supporters of the party close ranks in ensuring the party emerges victorious in the forthcoming Kogi, Imo and Bayelsa governorship polls.
The APGA chief reiterated his resolve to work closely with Governor Chukwuma Soludo and other elected state and National Assembly members to reposition the party in days ahead.
He said: “APGA needs to reconcile. We are facing reconciliation. There are three elections coming up in Kogi, Bayelsa and Imo states. A timetable is going to be released tomorrow, and we are going to work hard to see how we can get our acts together. So, whosoever has been offended or hurt should not take it out on APGA. Accept our apologies.
“I call on Oye, former members of National Working Committee (NWC), all wards and councils to unite and move this party forward.”
“APGA has been fortunate to have four governors, many Federal House and state Assembly members and a few senators. We should be more conscious to people that vote us in.
