Nollywood set for Italy film festival

Nollywood is set to thrill audiences across Italy as it gears up to feature Milan, Florence, Rome and Torino in the coming film festival in the country.
To achieve this, the festival is partnering with Festival Del Cinema Africano, d’Asia eAmerica Latina (Fescaaal), Nigerians in Diaspora Organisation (NIDO) and the African Diaspora Cinema Festival (ADCF) to host programmes in Milan, Florence, Rome, and Torino.
With a list of diverse and compelling films that capture the essence of Nigerian culture, the Nollywood Travel Film Festival promises to be an unforgettable cinematic experience.
From gripping dramas to hilarious comedies, the festival will offer a window into the vibrant world of Nollywood and its unique storytelling traditions.
“We are thrilled to bring the magic of Nollywood to audiences in Milan, Torino, Rome, and Florence. Sometimes last year, we had met with the Consular General of Italy in Nigeria, Ambassador Ugo Boni, to discuss our plans, and he was happy about the prospects of strengthening cultural ties between both countries,” said the festival organisers.
