Nwambuonwor bags Kpakpando of Idumuje Unor title

Chief Nwambuonwor was honoured at a colourful ceremony at Idumuje Unor kingdom royal place along with other illustrious sons of the community who also received various chieftaincy titles for their contributions to community development.

In a address ,Obi Anyasi III urged the recipients to continue to promote the cultural values of Idumuje unor Kingdom through exemplary conducts.

The monarch said Chief Florence Nwambuonwor had continuously established physical presence by her unrelenting support towards the development of Idumuje-Unor and Anioma in general.

The traditional ruler urged Chief Nwambuonwor and other awardees to remain good ambassadors of Idumuje unor community and noted that the purpose of the conferment of the chieftaincy titles was to strengthen the traditional cabinet for greater achievements.

He called on the newly conferred chiefs to bring their wealth of experience to forebear on the peace and development of Idumuje unor.

Chief Florence Onyeisi Nwambuonwor said in an interview with journalists that she had been in the forefront of promoting the tradition and rich cultural heritage of Anioma and was elated to be the first woman to be conferred with the title of Kpakpando of Idumuje-Unor.

She assured that she would continue to contribute to the development and growth of the community while also thanking Obi Anyasi III,for finding her and other recipients worthy to be part of his cabinet.

The newly conferred chiefs accompanied by family members and friends later danced to pay homage to the traditional ruler.

Chief Florence Nwambuonwor also received the title of Agu Nwanyi of Ogodor Kingdom in Aniocha North local government area of Delta state conferred on her by the Obi of the community, His Royal Majesty,Sunday Olisenwokwu at an elaborate ceremony witnessed by dignitaries from all walks of life
