Following reports on the slow pace of work at the Vanco junction flyover and tunnel, Ebonyi State Governor Francis Nwifuru has assured that the flyover and tunnel will be completed in record time.
Nwifuru stated this on Tuesday while answering questions from journalists shortly after inspecting the progress of work, maintaining the work is not as slow as the people thought as it is a strategic project for the development of the Abakaliki Capital City.
On the Water Treatment Plant project, the Governor said, “The work is about 80 percent completed, very soon, there will be water everywhere.
“I am not in a hurry to commission projects. I am not done yet. By God’s Grace, I still have about 6 years to go and by that time, people will see what we have been able to put up with the mandate they gave us.”
