NYSC debunks reports advertising job recruitment
The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has debunked reports claiming that the scheme is advertising for job vacancies/recruitment.
The NYSC refuted the recruitment report on Wednesday morning in a disclaimer on its official X handle, saying it is a scam.
“The Management of National Youth Service Corps wishes to inform the general public of some recruitment sites on the internet claiming that the Scheme is advertising for job vacancies/recruitment,” the post read.
“Management hereby states that it has not in anyway advertised or authorized any agency to recruit on its behalf.
“The general public is strongly advised to disregard any information on these fake NYSC websites (nysc.org & nyscjobs.ng) and not fall victim of their fraudulent antics.”
Furthermore, according to the post, authentic information on NYSC programmes and activities can be accessed from the Scheme’s verified official website, nysc.gov.ng.
They can also be verified on its social media platforms; officialnysc – Facebook, officialnyscng – Twitter/Instagram/Thread, NYSC NDHQ – YouTube.
