Edo State Government, yesterday, said the Governor Godwin Obaseki administration has, in the last six years, made remarkable progress in enthronement of good governance for Edo people.

State Commissioner for Communication and Orientation, Chris Nehikhare, who spoke to journalists on the state’s preparedness for the Alaghodaro 2022, scheduled to hold in Benin City, between November 11 and 13, 2022, said government has boosted every sector of the state in the last six years, and has made Edo people happy.

Nehikhare, who added that the 2022 edition of the summit, with the theme, ‘Edo’s Transformation: Partnerships, Resilience, Impact,’ said the event would rally private investors and captains of industry towards bolstering government’s efforts of making Edo the most investment-friendly sub-national in Nigeria.

He said the summit would enable government review progress made in the last six years, as well as appreciated Edo people for their love and support for the Obaseki-led administration.
