The Baale of Kuto, Muftau Kehinde, has urged the Ogun State Police Command to investigate the murder of his son, Fatai Kehinde. Fatai, a Point of Sale ( POS) operator popularly known as Faithy, was brutally murdered by suspected cultists on Friday last week.

The Baale dismissed rumours that his son was a member of a cult, challenging anyone with evidence to come forward. He implored the police to thoroughly investigate the incident and apprehend those responsible.

The assailants reportedly chased the deceased from his shop inside the Kuto Market to a spot under a bridge, where he was killed. Kehinde said: “The assailants demanded money from him, and when he attempted to flee, they chased him down. Despite his desperate pleas, Fatai was brutally murdered in front of his wife and children. They have never brought a case involving my son fighting someone since he came to this world; it has never happened.”
