Ogun police training school gets new commandant

The police command in Ogun has announced the appointment of ACP Aderemi Yusuf, as the new Commandant of the Police Training School (PTS), Iperu-Remo in Ogun.
CSP Omolola Odutola, the command Spokesperson, disclosed this in a statement in Abeokuta on Tuesday.
According to the statement, Yusuf, a seasoned officer, holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree with honours from Bayero University, Kano, and a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Economics from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
“He is also a member of esteemed professional bodies, including the Institute of Local Government Administration and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants of Nigeria.

“With extensive experience in policing, Yusuf has attended several advanced courses, including the Tactical Leadership and Command Course in Jos and Community Policing Training.
“This has further strengthening his capacity for effective leadership,” he said.
Odutola explained that the new Commandant would bring intellectual depth, professional passion and dynamic leadership to the institution.
“His vision aligns with the Inspector-General of Police’s commitment to enhancing police training, capacity development and professionalism,” he said.
